All three tycoons, Hertz, Hendrick Motorsports, and William Byron, who is the No.24 Chevy Camaro driver, renewed partnership around October 24th, 2019. The American based rental agency will be the critical sponsor for No.24 Chevy Camaro during the four NASCAR Cup Series races.
The appearance of the No.24 Chevy Camaro will be visible during the Auto Club Speedway, ISM Raceway, Talladega Superspeedway and Kansas Speedway happening in March and October 2020, respectively. The Hertz Hendrick partnership began in May 2018, and soon enough, the Hertz-Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro rental car company launched.
In the past 32 NASCAR cup series race, William Byron won achieved five pole positions that make him at a tie with veteran Kevin Harvick. He completed 225 laps, was twelve times in the top-10s, and four times in the top five’s in October 2019.
Post the renewal announcement of Hertz and Hendrick Motorsport’s William Byron announced in October 2019 that the agency launched the Hertz Ultimate Ride Sweepstakes. The NASCAR fans had a chance to take away home a limited-edition Hertz & Hendrick Motorsports 2020 Chevrolet Camaro SS. Recently, the winner of this sweepstake, Phillip Abma of Miami, Florida, was announced. He was one of the four finalists, but all four of them won the Charlotte Motor Speedway, which gave them a chance to take laps with Byron.
Besides this, all four finalists had lunch with Byron and the NASCAR No.24 team. Additionally, they were given a tour of behind the scenes at Hendrick Motorsports and were handed out passes for the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The finalists were called and given a chance to draw essential, and only one key would fit the limited-edition Hertz & Hendrick Motorsports 2020 Chevrolet Camaro SS. Abma’s daughter helped him to decide the key, and he was quite surprised to be the lucky winner.
The limited-edition Hertz & Hendrick Motorsports 2020 Chevrolet Camaro SS has many upgrades such as a 6.2-liter V8 small block LT1 engine with a 480 hp. The small block in the engine increases the power by 25 hp with the addition of the new intake and exhaust system.
Aside from this, the limited-edition Hertz & Hendrick Motorsports 2020 Chevrolet Camaro SS also has 24” center caps, 20” satin black wheel, brake calipers with yellow paint, logos of Hendrick Motorsports, badges & decals of Hertz, customized embroidery on the headrests and a numbered plate.
However, unlike the sweepstakes winner Phillip Abma, others can also rent the limited-edition Hertz & Hendrick Motorsports 2020 Chevrolet Camaro SS from their nearby Hertz offices. The Hertz & Hendrick model also comes in the ZL1-based variant with a 550 hp along with an upgraded Callaway Supercharger. Also, Hertz-Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro rental cars began delivering 224 Chevy Camaro’s in October 2019.
