Although there will be many changes in the Corvette Z06 this year, the major information according to many sources is the new spoiler that the Corvette Z06 is bound to get for this year. The C8.R which is going to run it’s the first race at the Daytona Rolex 24 has a very big spoiler and Chevy could’ve taken inspiration from their C8.R.
How will the spoiler look like?
According to various sources, who are very much familiar with this project, C8 Z06 will get a spoiler bigger than the current selling Z06’s spoiler. This move from the Bow-Tie manufacturer will reduce the drag caused by the spoiler and will increase the levels of downforce. The C8 Z06 spoiler will be different from the spoiler already fitted in the C8.R. Although you can expect a spoiler with a resemblance to the spoiler of Koenigsegg Agera RS.
Will it be Standard or Optional?
As of now, it is unclear whether the spoiler will be a standard feature or optional. Chevy will confirm it once the car launch date gets near. However, many sources on the authority websites say that the spoiler is going to be standard equipment.
When can we see the C8 Corvette Z06?
The C8 Corvette Z06 is set to launch in 2021 which will be made on the same platform as the 2020 Corvette Stingray (2020 North American Car of the Year) delivering performance at a new level.

The C8 Corvette Z06 will be an ultra-high-performance version of the 2020 Corvette Stingray with a 5.5L V8 DOHC naturally aspirated engine generating above 600 horsepower. The C8 Corvette Z06 will come along the Corvette E-Ray, which is going to be the first of the two-hybrid cars ever launched in the Corvette lineup.
