The C8 Corvette is going to go down in history books as one of the most significant revolutionary changes to a vehicle in automotive history and specifically in the General Motors lineup because the most loved and value for a money sports car of the American market. It has finally gone mid-engined, resulting in the layout no longer being an unattainable dream for the common folk as it wouldn’t be surprising considering the Corvette’s of the past that the C8 becomes the recommended vehicle to buy if one is planning on getting the mid-engined layout for the first time.
The C8 Corvette is a mighty machine that undoubtedly falls into a very convenient package; this could result in many first time buyers that might not be comfortable in driving the C8 at its absolute limits-on a track (don’t you dare think we want you to punch the throttle on public roads). To counteract this fear amongst new owners and to provide a training ground for others to polish their driving skills, Ron Fellows Performance Driving School has partnered with Chevrolet to bring forth a High-Performance Corvette Owners School program for the brand spanking new Corvette C8.
Come this April, Ron Fellows Performance Driving School will begin their two day enhanced programs with the help of Chevrolet that promises to provide enormous savings for the owners that opt to attend the classes. The 2 Day curriculum is designed to be able to offer a comprehensive set of skills and techniques that would benefit amateur and pro drivers alike via a course that would include both classroom time and on-track experience. Multiple sessions are to be slated throughout the course, which would help the drivers to build up their skills and also gauge and polish out the rough edges. Courtesy of Chevrolet, the tuition fee for the two-day course is a relatively affordable $1000 that comes with a one night stay at one of the Spring Mountain’s plush condos coupled with the attendees getting an exclusive access to meals and drinks at the Clubhouse with breakfast and lunch being prepared by the onsite chef at Spring Mountain.
The above announcement has been made public from Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club, which is the hub of the Ron Fellow Performance Driving School, situated at just 55 miles from the Sin City, Las Vegas. John Morris, CEO, and Co-Owner of Spring Mountain appeared to be ecstatic while announcing the two-day driving school workshop.
“There has been an incredible buzz around the 8th generation Corvette, and what better way to kick off 2020 and our twelfth year of the school, with the all-new mid-engine Corvette”. Ron Fellows, pretty evident by the name, is the co-founder of the esteemed driving school and is also looking forward to taking their relationship with Chevrolet and General Motors to a new level with this program, he added, “I know that everyone responsible for the day-to-day operations of our school are looking forward to providing our outstanding service and a great overall experience showcasing the next-level engineering of the new mid-engine Corvette.”Said John Morris
