GM has recently released the official interior design images of the three-row Chevrolet Blazer. This vehicle has been optimized to meet the demands of the Chinese market. The new variant was presented for public viewership in November 2019 at the 2019 Chevy Gala Night. As per the official reports, the 2020 Chevy Blazer will launch in the Chinese market in the first half of this year.
Both the interior and exterior of the three-row 2020 Chevy Blazer are clones of the five-seat models in North America. The sixth-generation Chevy Camaro inspires the design for the utility dashboard of the vehicle. The sporty and technologically advanced designer dashboard separates the interior of the 2020 Chevy Blazer from its competitors.
However, the location and design of the dashboard are identical to the models in North America. But, there is a slight difference. 10″ diagonal displays replace the 8” hexagonal array in the North American models for the Chinese market trims. Additionally, with the increased screen size, the surrounding button layout had to be altered. They are no longer two-row counterparts that are available in the 2020 Chevy Blazer trims available in North America.
But, as mentioned earlier, the 2020 Chevy Blazer is a three-row seat model developed for the Chinese automobile market. This feature is the most subtle difference between the trims available in North America and the models of the Chinese market. The inclusion of the seats also extended the rear overhang and roofline. The all-new 2020 Chevy Blazer has a GM C1 Platform, 196″ body length, and seven seats with two in front, three in the second row, and two in the last row. The seats are designed based on the popular automobile Chinese family preferences, as mentioned before.
Also, according to GM, the 2020 Chevy Blazer thirty-seven storage spaces and can accommodate maximum cargo of up to 1970 liters or 69.6 cubic feet after folding the mid-row and last row seats. Also, the 2020 Chevy Blazer doesn’t just come with an extended length but also an extended sunroof that measures slightly more than one square meter.
Additionally, the exterior look of the three-row 2020 Chevy Blazer has taken inspiration from the 2018 Chevy FNR CarryAll concept. The Chinese market will get access to the three-row 2020 Chevy Blazer RS, and Redline trims that boast of athletic and aesthetic sports characteristics. Moreover, we are expecting a turbocharged 2.0L LSY four-cylinder engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission in the three-row 2020 Chevy Blazer.
Furthermore, the 2020 three-row Chevy Blazer will be GM’s top SUV priority above the Tracker, Trailblazer, and Equinox in the Chinese market. The 2020 three-row Chevy Blazer is a great mid-size SUV for markets wherein the Chevy Traverse is failing because of its large size. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not yet shown any interest in selling the 2020 Chevy Blazer three-row SUV in any other market, other than the Chinese market. Therefore, people in the US don’t have high hopes for the arrival of the 2020 Chevy Blazer three-row or seven-passenger SUV anytime soon. Stay tuned to stay updated about the all-new three-row 2020 Chevy Blazer, GM, and Chevy news.
